Value for money? I'd have to say 8 out 10 from your
website Photos, don't think they do the leads
justice. But in the hand 10 out 10. Being brought up
with a Yorkshire family background I was reluctant
to spend so much on 'just a dog lead' but now I have
it here the price is more than justified, very
nicely made and materials chosen.
My partner Jayne said its looked n feels like a
proper lead should! we love it, its Conrad's 3rd
Birthday on 22nd Aug so its his prezie from us.

leather police style training leads for dog made
from Sedgewick leather bridle leather that will last
for years as long as you care for it ,these leads
are made from the best English leather which is used
in the saddlery business that saddles, bridles,
stirrup leathers and head collars are made from, not
the usual rubbish that you see on the internet sites
, all our supplies are bought in the UK, each piece
of leather is cut to size from a large piece, which
is called a bridle butt
GLUEING
Each fold and join on every lead
, collar and other things we are asked to make are
glued with leather contact ,glue formulated for this
purpose, prior to stitching to double the strength ,
we have tried a lead out on one of out own German
shepherds just to see how strong they are and the
result are great it's as if the joins were not there
and it was one piece of leather as we expected.
ENGLISH LEATHER TRAFFIC LEADS
These comprise
of a short 10 to 12 inch English leather lead with a
trigger clip for close road control when walking
your dog.
The sizes can be adjusted to suit your dog on order.
As we know with all the hype about
dangerous dogs it's better to keep your dog close
whilst walking along road sides and in crowded
shopping areas.
ENGLISH
LEATHER POLICE STYLE TRAINING LEADS
These come in two
pieces of leather bonded together with a solid brass
ring which is the centre of the lead. There is a
solid brass trigger clip at each end and a further
brass ring which is used to clip a trigger clip onto
to shorten the lead. All joins and folds are glued
prior to stitching. The result is a super strong lead.
Approx length of the lead from clip to
clip is 112 inches when unclipped fully stretched out,
and around half of that when made into a normal
training lead

Just a quick e-mail to say thanks for the lead and
half check collar you recently supplied us with, the
quality is excellent and very good value compared to
some other leather leads I have seen which can only
be described as fashion items

LEATHER HALF CHECK COLLARS
These collars are kinder to your
dog's neck and still have the same effect as a
conventional choke chain when adjusted to the right
size using the buckle adjustment. Please measure
your dog's neck prior to ordering.

TO
MEASURE YOUR DOGS SIZE AS PER THE PICTURE
Take a leather belt and take it
up under the neck by the throat and up to the ears
and where the ends join nice and snug that will be
the ordering size.
This will become the middle size
on the collar. We then put adjusting holes either
side of the middle size so you can adjust to suit as
your dog grows.

LEATHER
CARE
As long as you care for your
leather product with leather dressing there is no
reason that it shouldn't last for a good few years
and you'll feel at ease knowing your dogs are safe
on the end of them. The stitching is done with
yacht sail stitching thread so it will stand all
sorts of weather.

Lead very promptly and we are very happy with it. It
has put to the test we have an 11 month German
Shepherd who can pull like a horse and these type of
leads give you a lot more control. Thanks very much,
